Two New Jersey Transit buses crashed inside the Lincoln Tunnel on Monday morning. According to an article by the New York Daily News, a 114 line bus from Plainfield rear-ended a 190-line vehicle from Paterson in the tunnel’s center tube at about 7:35 a.m. Both of the buses were bound for the New York Port Authority. There were over 100 passengers on the two buses.
Due to their massive size, buses can cause devastating injuries to other drivers and their own passengers when they are involved in an accident.
In many instances, the accident and subsequent injuries could have been avoided if not for the bus driver or manufacturer's negligence. As a result, individuals who have suffered a severe injury in a bus accident may be entitled to compensation.
